Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Mavya ("Mavya", "we") collects when you use mavya.app, why, and who helps us run it. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider), or your name and email if you sign in with Google, plus an optional username.
• Your shop and research: the Etsy shop name you enter, and public Etsy data about your shop, listings and the keywords, products and shops you research, read through the official Etsy API. We never ask for your Etsy login.
• Content you add: photos you upload, listing text you write or paste, drafts and saved items.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We keep your plan, billing status and Stripe customer ID.
• Usage data: pages visited and how the app is used, through Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (which records anonymized sessions such as clicks and scrolling), plus technical logs such as errors.

2. How we use it

• To provide the Service: show your shop, score listings, run research and save your work.
• To generate AI suggestions when you click to improve a listing or photo.
• To bill paid plans and send account or billing emails.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, fix problems and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. AI processing

When you ask for a suggestion, the related photo or listing text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate the result for you. Your photos and text are not used to train AI models. AI only runs when you click to use it.

4. Who helps us run Mavya

We share data only with service providers that process it for us:

• Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in
• Vercel: hosting and analytics
• Stripe: payments
• OpenAI: AI suggestions
• Upstash: rate limiting
• Microsoft Clarity: session analytics
• Google: sign-in, if you choose it

We may also share information if required by law, or to protect our users or the Service.

5. Etsy data

Etsy data comes from the official Etsy API. We keep it only as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, and we refresh it so what you see stays current. We do not resell, license or share Etsy data. The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

6. How long we keep data

We keep account data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data and content within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal, tax or billing records.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy laws, and we will honor them.

8. Cookies

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies from Vercel and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the app is used.

9. Children

Mavya is not for children. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make important changes, we will tell you in the app or by email.
