Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Mavya("Mavya", "we", "us") for your use of mavya.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Mavya does

Mavya helps Etsy sellers research their market and improve their own listings. It reads public Etsy data through the official Etsy API, shows research such as keyword, product and shop metrics and estimates, scores listings, and offers AI-generated suggestions for titles, tags, descriptions and photos. Mavya does not log in to your Etsy account and never changes anything on Etsy. You decide what to use and apply any changes yourself.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate information and keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.
  • You may only connect an Etsy shop that you own or are authorized to manage.

3. Plans, payment and cancellation

  • Mavya has a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Each plan has the limits shown on the pricing page. We may change plans or prices for future billing periods with notice.
  • You can cancel at any time in Settings under Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not currently offer automatic refunds. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will review it with you.

4. AI suggestions

AI suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Review every suggestion before you use it. You are responsible for what you publish on Etsy, including that it is accurate and follows Etsy's policies. Estimates such as estimated sales or revenue are approximations, not Etsy data.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law, Etsy's Terms of Use or Etsy's policies through the Service.
  • Use the Service to copy or infringe other sellers' products, photos, designs or other intellectual property.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use.
  • Scrape, resell or bulk-export data from the Service, or use bots or automated tools to access it.
  • Try to get around plan limits, security or access controls, or disrupt the Service.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the Service to you, including sending them to our AI provider when you ask for a suggestion. See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Etsy

The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc. Etsy data shown in Mavya comes from the Etsy API and may change on Etsy at any time.

DISCLAIMER: THIS APPLICATION IS SOLELY PROVIDED BY MAVYA (THE "APPLICATION DEVELOPER"). YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ETSY, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPLICATION SERVICE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE APPLICATION OR DATA ACCESSED THROUGH IT.

8. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR THAT RESULTS, SALES OR ESTIMATES WILL BE ACHIEVED OR ACCURATE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, MAVYA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST SALES OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if needed to protect the Service, other users, or our access to the Etsy API. Some features depend on the Etsy API and may change or stop if Etsy changes or ends that access.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
